Imagine printing out a new dress for a party, with a headband to match, and custom shoes made, in one day.... This apparently will be a reality in the year 2015, due to rapid protyping, or 3D printing. Also called desktop manufacturing, these processes are going to revolutionise the way the consumer purchases, and increase the number of permutations available for each purchase decision.
